Snooker Players Earn Points at 2009 National Snooker Trial

This past Sunday night the 2009 National Snooker Trial got underway at the Dubai Snooker Club. Several players already racked up wins and earned points for the tournament. Among those winners were Abdullah Attar, Eisa Al Saeed and Salim Ali Salim. (25/08)

Snooker Legend Dennis Taylor to speak at Charity event

Dennis Taylor, a legend in the game of snooker, will be speaking at a black tie dinner this week at Scunthorpe’s Forest Pines hotel. The engagement is part of the region’s Tour of Britain Celebrations and will raise money for Sport Relief as well as Scunthorpe’s Lindsey Lodge Hospice. (18/08)

Nintendo Wii to Release World Snooker Game

If you have never played on a Nintendo Wii system you are really missing out. The Wii lets people experience console gaming on a whole other level as players are able to interact with the game by using the special controller called a nun chuck and the wii remote. Recently an announcement was made that a new game is about to release on the wii called World Snooker Championship Real 09 which will give snooker players a chance to experience their favorite game in video form.
