First Snooker Competition to be held by Puttinu Cares Foundation
The Anglo Maltese League in Valletta will be holding the first ever snooker competition hosted by the Puttinu Cares Foundation. The event will see one table set aside for the competition and another table set up for a sixty hour marathon game of snooker. (15/09)
Ken Doherty Starts Off Well in Shanghai
The Shanghai Masters are in full swing and Ken Doherty began the tournament with confidence in his game. Doherty played well when the tournament started and earned a victory of 5-0 over Aditya Mehta of India in the wild card playoff. (08/09)
Thor Chuan Leong Wins National Snooker Title
Monday night at the A-Que Snooker center in Petaling Jaya, Thor Chuan Leong was able to beat Mohammad Reza Hassan to claim the first place prize and the title of National Snooker Champion. The competition was tough and Leong earned his RM5, 000 winner’s check as he outlasted the competition. (04/09)
Snooker Club Re-opens after Months of Renovations
The Old Stamford Snooker Club on High Street has reopened after months of renovations. Snooker players in the area will be glad to see the club reopened and in its present state as the club has been restored to its former glory. (01/09)
