Aditya Mehta outlasted the competition in the VIP Matrix All-Indian Invitational Snooker tournament to win the event. Mehta had to beat Saurav Kothari in the finals to claim the win and he did so with a score of 7-3.

In the final Aditya was on fire as he beat Kothari and in the process he earned a century break of 103 to win the first frame. Aditya continued to play well as he earned the next four frames quickly with a clearance of 72, 65, 53 and 74.

Aditya used his smarts and consistent game play to take a 5-0 lead against Kothari. That was in the first session and the start of the second session was no different. Aditya posted a break of 97 and then earned the 6-0 lead. Kothari suddenly found himself and went on a semi run but it was not enough to earn the win and Aditya was the champion of the event.
