Alex Higgins Dropped From Charity Event
Alex HIggins was supposed to attend a charity event in Limerick in March but has been dropped from the schedule. This comes after recent reports of Higgins threatening and verbally abusing spectators and a referee at separate events.

Several allegations have been made including Higgins making a ten year old boy cry. Higgins was also accused of threatening a spectator with smashing a snooker ball in his face. This past Thursday, Higgins told a referee that he would stick his cue up his a**.

Since the allegations have surfaced Limerick and North Tipperary Carer's Association has dropped him from the charity schedule and he has been replaced by Stephen Hendry, the seven time world champion.

Higgins has been called a "mad man" by reporters for his actions in recent matches. It will be interesting to see if his behavior changes after he has been dropped from the charity event.
