Chester Snooker League Christleton A No Longer Undefeated
Christleton A had remained an unbeaten snooker team in the Chester league until they were up against Conservative A. The Conservative team played well and managed to claim a victory in the match of 4-2. Christleton A had started the snooker season with eight straight wins in the Riley’s Division but that record came to a halt when they were up against Conservative A. It was Steve Williams who got the Conservative team off to a great start beating Andy Mumford while Finn Callagher tied up the match by winning over Mark Jarvis.
Wayne Amey then moved the Christleton team ahead when he had a 55 break against Eddie Jenkins. Jason Taylor then tied the match with a win over Chris Hesketh. That win was followed by two more by the Conservative team, one by Andy Short and one by Neal Jones to take the victory.
The Conservative A team was able to break a good snooker record made by the Christleton A team. The Conservative team should be proud of their accomplishment.
