Fourth Masters Snooker Title won by Ronnie O’Sullivan
After commenting last week that the sport of snooker was a dying game, Ronnie O’Sullivan used his feelings to help win his fourth British Masters snooker title. O’Sullivan beat Mark Selby at Wembley in a best of nineteen frame showdown.

O’Sullivan showed strong emotions last week as he spoke about the game of snooker. O’Sullivan commented that the sport needed showbiz added to it, something to spice things up. He also claimed that the sport was being killed by administrators who have no imagination. He was so upset that he broke his pool cue and had to borrow one during competition.

O’Sullivan pulled himself together to face Mark Selby and won the match 10-8. O’Sullivan had been down in the best of 19 match 5-7 before making his comeback. He had breaks of 69, 70 and 110 before he won the match.

O’Sullivan commented on the match: "I was just trying to compete because Mark is a fantastic player. I'm pleased to come out on top. It's always tough. I needed to cue well and pot clean balls. I didn't have any rhythm at first and I was fighting my emotions all day. Then I found some form."
