Hussain Mahmood Qualifies for Arab Snooker Semi-finals
Hussain Mahmood is a member of the under twenty one Bahrain snooker team and his recent performance in the Arab Snooker championship showed that he has the skills to make it to the top. Mahmood recently beat Fadhel Mahmood to enter into to semi-final play.

Hussain and Fadhel competed in the quarter finals and Hussain was able to take the match 4-0. Fadhel seemed no match for Hussain as he was on top of his game. Hussain has managed to remain unbeaten during the competition so it looks good for him in the semi-finals.

Hussain will now face Ali Al Obaidly of Qatar in semi-final play. Obaidly is the defending champion. The winner of this match will move on to face Ali Jalil of Iraq who defeated Sulaiman Abu Salem of Jordan 4-3 in their semi-final game.

Hussain will be supported in his semi-final match by the Bahrain Billiards and Snooker Federation vice president Yousef Sekhair who arrived in Cairo yesterday.
