The national snooker team of Islamabad is going to be sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs. The organization decided to sponsor the national snooker team after the Ministry of Sports said they would not be sponsoring the team.

The national snooker team will be going on tour to participate in the world billiard and snooker championship and will be sponsored financially by the Ministry of Youth Affairs. The Ministry of Sports has not given any financial aid to the two member national team so the Ministry of Youth Affairs took the bull by the horns and announced their support of the national snooker team for the upcoming event.

The world billiard and snooker championship is set to start on November 14th at Indian City Hyderabad. Financial support will be given to the team for what they need during the event. The president of Pakistan Billiard and Snooker Federation has said that despite a promise from the Federal Minister for Sports Aftab Shah Jeelani, the snooker team will not receive a grant from them.
