O’Sullivan to Miss Masters for Big Brother
It has been rumored that three time world snooker champion Ronnie O’Sullivan is going to skip the chance to defend his Masters title next month. O’Sullivan is going to be competing on the Celebrity Big Brother instead; this is according to Paddy Power. Paddy Power’s sports book has O’Sullivan as the 2/1 favorite to win the show instead of other rumored housemates Pamela Anderson and MC Hammer. The show has not confirmed the names of those set to be on the show but Paddy Power has released their predictions.
The new show will begin on January 3rd and usually runs for about three weeks. The Masters is set to take place on the 10th to the 17th, so this would clearly interfere with O’Sullivan competing in the tournament.
Paddy Power still has O’Sullivan as the favorite to win the Masters with better odds to win than on Big Brother. Paddy Power spokesperson, Sharon McHugh, commented: “Ronnie is a genius at the snooker table but more importantly he’s a colorful and unpredictable character off the table the perfect recipe for Big Brother success!”
