People often look up to sports players and hope one day to maybe challenge that player. Many believe they can actually beat the famous sports player. For those who have the guts, Matthew Stevens, a World Championship finalist, is challenging people to a frame of snooker this Saturday at Newport Market.

Interested parties can come to the table between eleven am and four pm and test their playing skills against Stevens, a former Masters and UK champion. Those who can score ten or more points will receive free tickets to the 2009 Welsh Open. The Open will take place in February sixteenth through the twenty second at the Newport Center.

This is a unique opportunity for those who love the game of snooker. The ability to be able to play a professional snooker player does not come around very often. Stevens has an impressive record as he has made two World Championship finals and just recently reached the final of the Bahrain Snooker Championship.
