Top snooker pro Ronnie O’Sullivan recently made quite a few statements about snooker pro John Higgins. O’Sullivan had nothing but good things to say about Higgins and stated that Higgins is one of the all time greats of the game.

O’Sullivan claims that Higgins has under-achieved during his career even though he has already claimed his third world title this year. O’Sullivan stated that Higgins will be the man to beat as he defends his title at the upcoming Grand Prix in Glasgow.

O’Sullivan stated that it sounds strange for him to say that Higgins is under-achieved yet still one of the greatest snooker players but it is because of how highly he is rated by O’Sullivan.
O’Sullivan commented: “He’s the best tactical player ever—ahead of Steve Davis- plus he’s a heavy break-builder, so he’s got no weaknesses. Although he’s won three world titles, his game is so well suited to the longer-frame tournaments that I would have expected him to win more.”

O’Sullivan will begin his time at the Grand Prix against Jami Burnett this Tuesday while Higgins will begin the tournament facing Mark Joyce on Saturday.
