Ronnie O’Sullivan Knocks Joe Perry out of Party Poker Premier League Championship
Snooker players Ronnie O’Sullivan and Joe Perry were up against each other in the semi finals of the Party Poker Premier League Championship of Snooker this past weekend to see who would advance to the finals. It would be a tough match and O’Sullivan prevailed and moved on to the next stage of competition.

Perry lost the first frame to O’Sullivan and from that point on was playing constant catch-up. Perry did make a 100 break and made the score even at 4-4 in the best of nine games. The final frame O’Sullivan left Perry open to catch up but Perry missed the shot and O’Sullivan had a break of 104 to take the frame and win the overall matchup.

Perry commented: "I think in hindsight I should have stopped as the sound did distract me.
It was a pity because that was my final shot in the end. I felt I played really well and going into the final frame I could win the match. Playing in the premier league has been a big bonus and my confidence has carried on from the world championships.”

O’Sullivan has beat Perry three times this year and is scheduled to meet him again in January at The Masters as well as the second round of the Maplin UK Championship which is this weekend. Perry has done very well this year as he was a semi-finalist at the world championships in April and has received very good reviews; he just came up a little short this time.
