Ronnie O’Sullivan the Odds Favorite to Win World Snooker Championship
This week the World Snooker Championship began in Sheffield, England and bookmakers have put Ronnie O’Sullivan as the odds favorite to win the championship. O’Sullivan has won the event three times previous.

The last time O’Sullivan won was in 2008 and it looks like this year he will win as well. The player is at odds of 3/1 to win the trophy at Sky Bet, Tote Sport, Sporting Bet, BlueSQ and 888Sport. BetDaq, Ladbrokes, William Hill, Victory Chandler and StanJames have the snooker pro at 10/3 odds of winning.

John Higgins who won last year is also in the running to win this year’s event. ExtraBet has him at 10/3 odds while William Hill, Ladbrokes, Sporting Bet, Tote Sport, Betfred, BoyleSports, Victor Chandler, Paddy Power, StanJames and Coral all have the player at 4/1 odds.

Mark Selby and Ding Junhui both are odds favorites as well right behind Higgins and O’Sullivan. It will definitely be interesting to watch the action unfold at the Crucible to see who will remain the odds favorite and who will be knocked out of the competition.
