Shaun Murphy Moves to New Training Club
Shaun Murphy is the current United Kingdom Snooker Champion and he recently moved to a new training club. The club is located in Sale, called the Sale Conservative Club. When Murphy moved to the new club he brought along a little something special.

Murphy has brought the former table of Paul Hunter the snooker pro. Hunter passed away in 2006 and the table was kept in his family. Now the table has been purchased from the family and Murphy has stated that it will be put to good use.

Murphy stated: "I've come in here a few times now and I've had to wait my turn and put my name on the board because other people have been playing on it! It's just great to see so many people getting excited and playing snooker in their club. The table is going to be well looked after and used a lot and I'm sure Paul would have liked to have seen it put to good use."

Murphy also stated the reason he decided to make the Sale club his home base is because it is close to family and friends. He also brought his recent Maplin UK Championship Trophy to the club as well. Murphy currently is in third place in the world rankings.

Except for our virtual Snooker guide and news section there's also a great article about Snooker on Wikipedia. It covers most bases for this popular game including the history of online Snooker and rules.
