Mohammad Sajjad is a top snooker pro from his home country and just a few days ago he won his third ranking title in his career. Sajjad won 8-3 against Saqib Butt in the National Ranking Snooker Cup at Karachi Gymkhana to earn the title.

It took five hours for Sajjad to earn the win over Butt. The scores were 79-31, 67-11, 97-49, 72-6, 70-29, 14-58, 4-56, 62-54, 25-61, 79-6 and 63-49. Sajjad had to defeat Khurram Agha of Sindh to advance to the finals this past Sunday.

Sajjad commented after advancing to the finals, he stated: “I’m happy that I have staged a comeback after faltering in a league match and maintained my top ranking. “ Sajjad won last year’s country’s premier snooker championship and the NBP Cup earlier this year, so he is no stranger to winning.

For his efforts Sajjad earned a purse of Rs40, 000 and a trophy while Saqib earned Rs30, 000 and the runner up trophy. Sajjad also earned an extra Rs5, 000 for having the largest break at 96.
