Snooker star John Higgins and his wife Denise recently appeared on the All Star Mr and Mrs Quiz Show. The two competed on the show and won £30,000 for a Scots Charity. Both John and his wife Denise answered all questions correctly to win the large prize.

The couple gave their winnings to Dalziel Hospice which is a cancer day center at Strathclyde Hospital in Motherwell, Lanarkshire. The charity treasurer Mary Docking commented that the center did not find out about the money until after the show was filmed. She commented:

"John has been the patron for just over a year now and the generosity of him and Denise has been amazing. I was hyper on Saturday as I tuned in. We are so grateful to them both."

Both John and Denise had to answer questions about each other as well as their relationship. The two have been married since 2000 and they were successful in answering each and every question during the show.
