Snooker’s World Championship Draw Results announced
Every year, snooker fans and players look forward to the Snooker World Championship event. Only the best of the best will make it to the championships, trying their best to earn the coveted title. This year, the World Championship will take place from the 16th of April to the 2nd of May. Fans will get to see the greats compete in the event, including Mark Selby and Ronnie O’Sullivan.

Beginning on the 16th, Stuart Bingham will take on Ali Carter while Marco Fu will try defeating Peter Ebdon. Later on, Stephen Maguire will play alan McManus while Shaun Murphy will take on Anthony McGill. On the 17th, Ricky Walden will play Robbie Williams while Ronnie O’Sullivan will face off against David Gilbert. Mark Williams takes on Graeme Dott while Michael White will play against Sam Baird.

Each day of the World Championships will feature a morning session, afternoon session and evening session. Two matches will take place during each session. The series will continue to see matchups take place until the final two remain.

In the end, the winner will earn a prize of £330,000 while the runner up will take home £137,500. The semi final players will earn £66,000 while quarter final players will be taking home £33,000. The last 16 will earn £22,000 with the last 32 earning £13,250. The player with the highest break during the event will earn £10,000.

The favorite to win the World Championship is Ronnie O’Sullivan as he has vast experience in the event, having won five titles. Neil Robertson and Judd Trump are also favorites to win. Also considered to go far in the competition is Shaun Murphy, Mark Selby and Stuart Bingham. It will be interesting to see how the players fare as the competition begins and who will make it far and who will be knocked out early.
