Steve Davis Visits With Young Snooker Enthusiasts
Snooker star Steve Davis recently went to Lancashire to visit a group of young people who enjoy the game of snooker. The fifty two year old snooker pro visited Chorley this past week to judge the final of a snooker competition. The snooker youth club were participating in the Chorley event.

Over thirty kids attend the club at the Clayton Green Leisure Center each week. The finals were the end of a series of competitions which took place over the past seven weeks. The finals took place at 9pm and Davis was on hand to judge the competition.

Steve Davis has an impressive record when it comes to snooker. The pro has won more professional titles in snooker than any other player and this includes six World Championships in the 80s. Davis held the number one spot in the world of snooker for seven years. This is very impressive and is why the kids were so excited to have him as a judge at their event.
